Description

Overview:
This premium Henry 5 Gallon Non-Fibered Asphalt Roof Coating is designed to provide exceptional protection for roofing materials, metal, and masonry surfaces. Formulated with a solvent-free asphalt emulsified with bentonite clay and water, this versatile coating is cold-applied and non-flammable while wet. Once dry, it becomes waterproof and corrosion-resistant, ensuring long-lasting durability against extreme weather conditions.

Key Features:
- Premium, versatile coating for roofing, metal, and masonry surfaces
- Solvent-free formulation made from asphalt emulsified with bentonite clay and water
- Cold-applied and non-flammable while wet
- Waterproof and corrosion-resistant when dry
- Will not crack, alligator, run, or sag under extreme weather conditions
- Resists most corrosive fumes and spray
- Ideal for dampproofing exterior below-grade foundations and walls
- Serves as a base coat for energy-saving reflective coatings
- Non-fibered black asphalt for superior waterproofing
- Coverage of approximately 100 square feet per 3 to 4 gallons when applied as one coat
- Exceeds ASTM D-1227-95, Type III, Class I requirements
- UL listed for Class A and B fire-rated roof coverings
- FM approved for roof coating applications

Usage:
This coating is suitable for use on concrete, masonry, steel tanks, and smooth-surface asphalt built-up roofs. It is not recommended for application over gravel, plywood, rubber, or PVC sheet roofing or shingles. The typical age limit for roofs to be coated is between 7 to 10 years, depending on the roof's condition. For optimal results, allow the coating to dry completely between coats, as it becomes waterproof only after thorough drying.

Precautions:
- Do not apply if rain or temperatures below 50°F are expected within 24 hours
- Avoid heating the container or storing it at temperatures greater than 110°F
- Ensure the pail is secured and the lid is tight during transport to prevent spills
- Do not allow the coating in the pail to freeze
- Drying time varies: usually 6 to 24 hours in hot, dry conditions; 2 to 7 days in cool, damp weather
